Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY)
This programme is aimed to create and develop useful assets pertaining to the basic physical and social amenities by providing employment to the persons living below poverty line in urban areas. This programme is applicable to those urban local bodies having a population of less than 5 lacs, as per 1991 census. Material: Labour ratio is required to be maintained at 60: 40. The Urban wages employment programme is being executed in 180 (except Three Nagar Nigam) Bodies of different category the construction are executed Departmental. A target of generating 1.00 lacs mandays was fixed for 2007-08.Against which 1.31 lacs mandays have been generated.
