History/City Profile (ULB/city/town History details) :- Bhadra was the kingdom of Kayam khan and hence its earlier name was 'Bhdra'. Later it was named as 'Bhadra'.
Geography :- Bhadra is located at 29°05'N 75°10'E / 29.05°N 75.10°E.It has an average elevation of 200 metres (633 feet).
Demographics :- As of 2011 India census, Bhadra had a population of 40667. Males constitute 52.25% of the population and females 47.75%.
Railway Station :- Bhadra is a major railway station Sadulpur, Rewari, Jaipur, Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar, broad gauge lines passes through this station.
Language :- Bagri, a dialect of Haryanvi language, is spoken by majority of population. Other languages spoken in the region are Hindi, Rajasthani.
Location of Bhadra Town :- Distance from District Head Quarter 120 Km. Distance from Hariyana District Hissar 60 km. Distance from Churu 120 km. Bhadra is the northern most Town of Rajasthan. Occupying an area of around 3566.7 sq km. The geographical coordinates of the district are 29° 7 North latitude and 75°10 east Longitude.
